We are a movement of people working collectively to defend and promote quality public tertiary education that is accessible to all. We work together to address a wide range of issues affecting staff because our conditions of work are students’ conditions of learning.

STOP THE CUTS
Aotearoa’s tertiary education sector has been underfunded for decades. Government funding has not kept pace with inflation, and now staff at some institutions are facing significant staffing and subject cuts.

Local Training Matters
The Government is about to make some big decisions about our Polytechs, apprenticeships and in-work training. It’s about how New Zealand teaches people to do the jobs our communities need like plumbers, builders, nurses, and caregivers.
