If you need individual employment related assistance ring 0800 278 348 or email [email protected]

We know that this is a challenging and disruptive time for staff and students.  As always TEU members will do our best to continue to provide online teaching and safe face-to-face teaching.

As alert levels change, employees should continue to get paid as normal and are not required to take sick leave if they need to have a COVID-19 test and remain home.  The most important thing is your wellbeing and staying safe. Your employer is required to ensure there are good health and safety measures in place

If you have any concerns please contact your organiser or contact us via [email protected].

Below are the TEU Alert level 2 and 3 guidelines and the link to the guidelines tertiary education organisations are required to operate under during the different alert levels.

If you have whanau, friends, or community contacts that need advice about the various financial support provided by the Government for employers, such as the Wage Subsidy Scheme, Leave Support Scheme, and Short-Term Absences Scheme see the link below.
