The Te Ira Tangata Editorial Team are currently inviting submissions for inclusion in the second issue of TEU’s biannual journal.
Te Ira Tangata is a peer reviewed, biannual, and interdisciplinary journal setting new agendas for feminism, gender equality and activism in Aotearoa. The journal publishes critical reflections and celebrations of research, teaching and activism that are supportive of TEU’s commitment to progressing gender equality and the empowerment of all women.
The journal is a forum for the exchange of a rich range of ideas, debates and provocations. Further, it is an inclusive forum which aims to hold an uplifting space for women/wāhine /trans women and others with non-binary identities.
The Editorial Team invites short academic articles or research notes presenting original research. In addition, experimental creative pieces, visual and textual media, accounts of political interventions and union activism, literature reviews, book reviews, interviews, short stories, poems, and photographic essays are all welcome.
Submissions for the 2nd issue of Te Ira Tangata are open until 2 September, 2021.
