Conference is coming.

TEU Conference is only four weeks away!

Held at Pōneke | Wellington’s Brentwood Hotel on 2 and 3 May, preceded by Hui Te Uepū for Māori members on 1 May, this year’s theme is Tū Kotahi, tū kaha – Stand Up for Our Future. Along with all the usual conference business, the programme features a strong focus on building collective power to achieve our goals.

And there will be a special 1980’s themed farewell party for Te Pou Ahurei Takirua – Ahumahi | Assistant National Secretary – Industrial, Irena Brörens – attendees should bring fancy dress and prepare themselves for a big Thursday night!

Delegates are reminded that there are three online conference preparation meetings being held next week covering an overview of the agenda, the new constitution and standing orders. The meetings are on Thursday 11 April at 10am, 12pm and 4pm – delegates must attend one (and only one) of these. Anyone who doesn’t have their Zoom invites should email rewa.wehipeihana@teu.ac.nz.
